How many people know how to Box waltz or fox trot? How many people want to before the New Year's Eve Party?
I figure, maybe an hour or so before the Ball, I can do a crash course on the two dance forms (if anyone knows how to, please join and help out! I'd love more guides than just me!). I figure people will be coming back from the dinner meet-up (http://ndkdenver.org/forum/index.php/topic,3917.0.html) and people will be gathering together anyway around that time just to be there early. Perhaps we might be able to do this outside or near the atrium.
Say, 7:00pm or so that night? Nothing too formal, just show up, look for the white mage and join the practicing group.

The fox trot is the same moves as the box waltz, but in 4 beats. It's called the "conversation dance" because you can talk to the other person a little easier...supposedly.

I acctually know how to do a real easey kind of ball room dancing. i think it is kinda a waltz just a lot essayer and Different.
Would you be interested in having me teach it???

What beat does it go by? 3 beats or 4 beats? Any chance of knowing the name of it? I know a lot of waltzes are based off the box and fox trot, so I'd love to see what it is first.

You're so very welcome. I'm so sorry I was a bit late. Some thief came up to me and said something like "your GP or your HP." Totally Lame.
But seriously, I just left the house late, but I'm glad I got to help a few people. And I don't think you had two left feet. You did an amazing job in my opinion.
