art show '9 payout?

I'm posting this here since I've not received any replies to my emails sent directly to the artshow email address.

I sent my artwork with an agent this year, as I was unable to attend and specified that profit payment was to be made directly to me as opposed to my agent. My agent reported back the last day of the convention that all my artwork had sold and what my profit was. It is now over 2 months since the end of the convention, but I've yet to receive my artshow profit check or even any kind of communication. At this point I am curious as to when I can expect my check.

I've alerted the Art Show department head to this thread, so hopefully she'll chime in soon...

My understanding is that when an agent is involved, the proceeds from art sales are paid to the agent at the convention. If this is indeed the case here, then your agent should have picked up the money at NDK, at which point it would be between you and your agent. I'm not sure what's supposed to happen if your agent failed to pick up the money at the convention, however.

The art show control sheet offers the options of having your profit check made payable to the artist OR agent and mailed to the artist OR agent. I indicated my preference for payments to be made out to me and paid to me, rather than my agent, hence why I posted this question. I have already spoken to my agent, who received no profit payout for MY works at the show, only her own.
