Okay now that Naruto has been shown on Disney, what is everyones opinion on the anime on disney after it made its debut?

Dislike it's on Disney (stupid commercials.... making my brain cells die....) but I love Naruto and I'm one of the few who do like the dubbed version. So yeah, I'm just happy it's back on T.V. again. *happy tears*

i do like the dubbed version.... however... as many of you may already know... i hate the fact that the creater has no hold apon it any more, that disney is exploiting it for ratings and money, and they dont have the best reputation with not distroying things... its okay for CN to show it, because they have a good reputation, but not disney.... (I hate disney so much, that ihave decided to boy cot it, not that i every watched it before, but they showed a disney movie clippy movie thing, and i got up, with my eyes closed and my ears covered, and i left the room.... and then explained later to my teacher the reasons of my actions.

Yea they might have put it on toonami if it was still around. Man i miss Toonami. OLD TOONAMI with Tom and Cera and their ship and stuff.

they had a giant final show and stuff. it kinda got lame in like 07 though. i like Tom 2 and Tom 3 the best.

ANYWAYS back on topic.

I think that Shippuden would have been a better fit for [adult swim] because the characters kind of matured with the show and there's a lot more subtle questionable humor. They could just end up airing the uncut version probably.

Well, it might not be so much that CN didn't want Naruto again, but that Disney might've either A. beat them to it or B. payed more for it. You never know.

I suppose that disney must be trying to target a younger audience with it so they can create another "otaku generation" and then just market the crap out of it, which honestly, i don't think is a bad idea, it just means more anime paraphanelia for us to buy.

Disney used to be cool to me, I watched it a lot when i was younger. If they had naruto on there when i was watching it I would probably make sure and watch it. Now that a lot of younger children are going to be watching it there will just be more otaku for us to hang out wit

. The little kids probably feel like the channel is respecting them by showing questionable humor and situations, even with all of the cutouts.

So did Disney just get lame, or did we all just grow out of it?

well, if they are REAL Otaku, then every thing should be okay.... but knowing the history of disney touching other peoples property it is questionable.

I agree lusha. My take, if you still support Naruto and want to send Disney a clear message. Don't watch the Disnex dub, buy the uncut dub on dvd. The more us Otaku does this, it should give Disney a message that we won't support their take on Naruto.

i have a feeling i have said this already, but what ever... The other day we watched a disney movie in my science class... i didnt even ask, i got up with my eyes and ears covered and i walked out of my classroom and then later told my teacher i was boycotting... i starting actualy boycotting disney a few weeks ago, not that i watched it to begin with.... and also, what some one might also do -i tried, but i cant even access their website...- is write disney a letter and politly tell them of our boycot, and they might do something....and they'll look for it and the more otakus actualy boycotting, the better.

basically, up to this point, a main example is the scene that wont air is the scenen with naruto and Sei.... I love that scene too.... and i also heard that they might (have) cut out the silent battle between Naruto and Sasuke.... you just cant go into the main of the series with out that battle... it is one of the first battles of what i think is the shippuden series, although i could be mistaken and that battle is still part of the main original series, but i think that it is deffinatly a main turning, transitioning point between the two seasons...
