I'm able to cram 4 in my 1996 Ford Explorer, and that's not counting me the driver. so basically 5 total.

milk when you're tired? now that is most definately odd to have weird ideas from drinking milk.... i've heard of "i shouldn't drink caffine this late at night" because it makes people too hyper, but i must say that is a new one. and i drink either a small glass of milk or orange juice almost every night before bed >.>'

I have to say since this is New Years Eve there will be a lot of cops out. Shoving more people in a car or van than it can leagally hold is probably a very bad idea, especially with the seatbelt law. I'd hate for anyone to get pulled over on their way to and from the hotel for doing something illegal, that's a bad way to start the night. Also remember to drive safe and keep an eye out for the drunk drivers.

Thanks for the warning, Katie. But, it might not be necessary to put more people in a car than legal, since we have four people carpooling. But, we shall see.

I'm going to be talking with my two other people and seeing if they want to do this. If that's the case, my car (or Lion's car, pending who gets to the car first) will have room for one more person.

I think as long as you don't wear jeans, it's acceptable. the front page for the event says "no street clothes" so i'd say a nice button down would work with some slacks.

Holy crap more people! I called the restaurant and they said their capacity is 27 people. So I hate to be a party pooper lets not have to many people otherwise they won't be able to fit everybody inside. And it'd suck if we go and thanks to the capapcity that they won't be able to serve everybody. And that way the norms won't get mad seeing otaku cramming up the joint. I did make reservations already I'm gonna have to call back and tell then more is coming. As for the dress code its casual. You don't have to be in your suit or dress for this.

Well, if there's too many, no worries. The three of us might just go to that mexican restaurant down the street. I'm flexible and I don't mind stepping back if it's too many.

You know, I just got off the phone with nemisis47, and it appears that the ramen place might be out of the question. He told me that we have 19 people for this group, so we might need to find another restreaunt in the area. Wasn't there a Japanese food place somewhere in that area?

I agree the meet is getting pretty big now and it would suck to cap everyone from going so how about we go to Benihana's for our dinner? Its bigger and no one would be capped and Beni's is at the same area.

Or a Mongolian BBQ place? Then there really is no cap and you don't have to wait as long for food.
