Author Topic: Pre New years Party Dinner meetup (Read 8755 times)

Since everyone is arriving at the hotel a bit early and the party don't start until 8pm, I was thinking why not start a dinner meetup before the party. The plan is we meet somewhere at the hotel at a specified time. Then, we either walk or drive (if anyone don't mind carpooling or provide transportation) to the restaurant of our choice. We eat and enjoy each others company before the party at 8. Restaurants I may suggest (no atrium restaurant I had a bad experience there this NDK) are: Gasho's, that really good ramen place people here keep talking about (sorry I don't know the places name), Garcia's. If you got other restaurant suggestions for this go ahead and post it. And if you wanna attend post here and RSVP me by sending a PM so that way I know who is coming. So, who is interested?

WHEN: Friday, December, 31st, 2009 at 5:00

Meeting in front of the double doors at 5 to gather everyone. Then, once we got everyone, we'll eat at the restaurant and enjoy each others company before the NYE Ball.

Attendance Cap is 19 we have our 19 ^_^

Dress Code:Casual come as you are

Thanks Katie i'll change it when I get a chance (I use my cell phone to post). As for Oshima, i'm down for anything that anyone suggests even a good ramen shop.

I could bring some cosplayers from the Thornton area and also to the restraunt, since I have a van. My dad is an awesome driver.

I'll go to the dinner with you guys. I don't mind hanging around outside if it gets too crowded, though.

Ok sorry for the lack of updates guys been busy with stuff. Okay, so we all agree on going to Oshima Ramen. I say we first meet after we all get checked in at the hotel and all set for the party. We'll meet around 6 in front of the revolving doors to gather everyone. Then, after the troops have been gathered, we'll go to oshima. I need a ride due to the fact I don't have a car, anyone willing to give me one? And whats Oshima's phone number? So I can set this up properly.

I'll see if I can use my cousin's full-size van, or else we'll squish into my dad's mini van. We can probably fit more people than recommended into both the mini van or the full size, so I think I have a good chunk of transportation down.

I got good news gang, they are open on new years eve from 11am til 9pm. So ladies and gents the meetup is a go. I'll update the 1st post when I get computer access. In the meantime the meetup is official but, I need everyones opinion on the meet time and place. The original idea we meet in front of the revolving doors around 5 or 6 to gather everyone. Then, once everyone is gathered we'll go to Oshima's, eat then enjoy the ball. Big ups to the carpool person.

So the time and meetup is good. Okay the important stuff is good with everyone. Now everyone spread the word about the meetup. Facebook invite your friends who are coming to the ball, myspace it, word of mouth do what you can. Finalfantasynutcase you rock.
