Pre-reg shirt and badge issue

Alright, I prereg every year because I would rather pay 25 and not go than 50 if I do go. (Plus, you can give your badge to a friend who didn't pre-reg if you realize you can't go a month beforehand. It's a great gift!)

Believing I couldn't go this year I did just that. Two weeks beforehand, I realized I could go (And she realized 5 days before NDK that she couldn't. We were SOL there, as pre-reg isn't gonna have enough time to fix that, right?)

I dunno if I bought a shirt for 2009, but incase I did, how would I find out and then procure said item? I still have the email requesting a change in name on the badge, and a reply. I can always send an email to that person, but I want to make sure all affairs are in order first.

Correct. Because of the time and effort involved in printing, cutting, and laminating all the badges, we need much more lead time than five days. (In fact, we'll have an official cut-off date posted soon for NDK 2010.)

I'll have our merchandise head respond about the T-shirt issue because I'm unsure of what our exact policies are there.

Yeah, I have the emails and everything to prove that I did transfer ownership of the badge. I'm just curious that if I transferred the badge, does the shirt transfer to that person too? If so, how do I get my shirt back? O.o I'm prereged again, if it can go to that. Though I'm still not even sure if I did order a shirt last year (I usually do. I did this year.)

Any help would be awesome :D

The T-shirt wouldn't transfer unless you asked for it to. Though the orders are taken in through the system, the badges and T-shirts are handled by different departments of the convention.

If you PM me the name and e-mail address from your order, I can check to see if you ordered a T-shirt. But again, I can't answer conclusively what our policies are on transfers, orders from previous years, etc. I've sent our merchandise head a PM alerting him to this thread, so hopefully he'll chime in when he's got some spare time.

Just adding a note here:
If I remember correctly, the t-shirts shown on the pre-reg page were black baby-doll shirts with red piping on the sleeves; what I got at NDK was a white box shirt. I told the people handing out the shirts this concern and they didn't really have an answer.

Later I saw people walking around with the black shirts. When I asked where they'd gotten them they told me they bought them at the dealer's room. :-\

For a short time after the new site was launched, there was an incorrect placeholder image on that product that didn't get removed. The only T-shirts that we sell through pre-registration are the standard (white) T-shirts with the digitally-printed images that we change each year. Sorry for the confusion.
