I'll be going~! At NDK I cosplayed Alice from Pandora Hearts, so I very well may cosplay formal Alice. Issue is~ She has about 50 bajillion dresses! Although this is most likely the one I'll be going with.  |

This is going to be a lot of fun and I'm greatly looking forward to it. One thing I would like to mention to those of you who are looking forward to it as much as I am, is to keep in mind that these Tickets WILL SELL OUT!
We have close to 7000 people join us at the convention and the Main events room where this Ball will be held is only going to fit about 700 people or so when you include a dance floor and room to move around and be comfortable. We've squeezed 900 in before but there wasn't room to do anything but sit at your table and eat.
So my point is, grab your ticket as soon as you possibly can. And seriously consider reserving a hotel room as well. They're discounted like always with NDK, and we'll be up having a great time very late. It's nice to just go upstairs and crash after that much fun, rather then having to drive home.

Really love all the excitement already for NDK's next event, and it's barely been a week! XDD
So, my friend and I will probably be coming together as Black Star and Soul from Soul Eater, and we're hoping to get a room too. Unfortunately, probably not a balcony room as it's more expensive >_< Ah well.

I hope I'll be able to attend. I'll stick with my usual identity of Legato. Certainly I'll formalize his costume rather than wear the usual. His skull I can transfer, but not the spikes (and I'd say that's for the best at a ball). I'll figure out a bit more to modify.
However I'm going to have to spend some money to do this... I don't have a single bit of formal attire around. I know a shop with a perfect white tux, but that's a bit much to spend...

Oh, I have the perfect plan already in the works for the NYE costume ball...
It will be spectacular. It will be amazing. It will probably take a nice bite out of my bank account to make it happen...but if it goes according to plan, it will be an amazing costume.
This is a character from a series I have never cosplayed from before, but it makes so much sense, I can't believe I hadn't thought of doing this before. I won't reveal what it the series/character is just quite yet, as my plans need a little bit of finalizing, but once they are, oh yes, there will be many degrees of awesome come December 31. ^_^
