As a whole, it did seem like the staff (or maybe they were merely volunteers) were edgier.
I feel they didn't approach some as well as they should have with, from my perspective, obvious situations: My friends and I were chatting to a Staff/Volunteer member on the very outskirts of the game room, he had an empty cup, upside-down, he drank from the outside but got caught up in conversation, and 2nd Staff/Volunteer member comes breaking into the conversation to tell him "No drinks in the game room." The original Staff/Volunteer member didn't seemed too pleased, as it probably was a slap in his face as if he weren't doing his job or paying attention. Still, it was good that the 2nd one noticed, regardless.
Some felt unorganized: Being told to move somewhere, then being scolded for standing there about 20 minute later for being in front of, what we were now informed of, a fire exit. I can think of a good Mitch Hedberg joke here

.
And overall, almost none of the members felt very approachable: A new con-goer asking about the "Not bringing your own controller" rule in the Video Game room got him an earful of "This is what he have! You HAVE to use it! If I see that stick again, it's mine!" and took a while to get to the point of the Colorado Liability Law(s).
Overall, if I had a suggestion, problem, question, or anything, I started keeping to myself because I didn't wanna bother with the staff/volunteers. Still, I wanna give out props to, and I apologize because I didn't learn your name, the head-shaven arcade machine knowledge'd go-to guy in the game room. He was really chill, easy to talk to, fun, and took the time to listen to what we had to say and just was in a much more chipper mood in contrast to the rest of the working kind. If anyone can tell him "Nice Work" for me, let it be done!
But it does sound like a key problem to some of the things is space, space, space. Room is running thin, and actions are becoming much more forward as the result. It would suck to cap, but it might be an answer until a larger venue. Despite, not all problems are based around that single reason, but here's to hoping for next year. Still, keep us updated theshadow. I feel like since I don't know AT ALL what is going on behind the scenes, I don't know where I should complain, or why certain things are what they are. Your post provides some good insight.
And as far as Fanaddican goes. He's not promoting anything to the conversation. He cannot provide us answers, he can only provide us provocation. I rather just have either straight up answers, or what they have in the planner direct from the staff man, theshadow, himself. Responding to him doesn't help much at all and I say responses to him, and due to him, should be put on hold.
