Would anyone be interested in an import gaming panel?

Hey all, JewWario from TGWTG here. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in an import gaming panel at this year's NDK? I was thinking that many of you might already have knowledge, but would this be something you might all like?

Well, might be something along the lines of showing HOW to play import games on retro-ish consoles without mucking with programs. So I wouldn't be showing hacking into a PS3/360/X-Box/Wii... but I would show tricks for NES, SNES, PS1 and the like.

And then, if there's interest, I would like to have some way to have people try out import games from Japan much like I do on my show... and get their takes on them. See if they get a thumbs down or thumbs up kinda' thing. But that might be  apart from the panel.

Either one would be really interesting to see. Especially playing them.

If we had the means to do so, I think it would be cool to have the import game panel, and then take over the VG room for an hour or two to actually play the imports.

That would be nice. Perhaps I can persuade some people to let us have 2 tvs and an area for a short time to allow people to play some imported games. Good idea.

I don't know. I think people might like some games like Pop'n Music or KeyboardMania... but they might also like a Jojo game, maybe a fighter... DEFINITELY Famicom games... but I don't know. Would all depend on what people ask for.

Of systems I can bring I can do Sega Saturn, MegaDrive, Dreamcast, GameCube, PS1, PC Engine, N64, SuFami, Famicom, and PS2. Anything else more recent would be too far into the 'hacking'.

All those systems would be perfect for your panel. I been wondering how to do that, I always wanted to play some of the sailor moon games.

Sweet! Well, I put in my petition for a panel and am even working on a 'You Can Play This' anime convention exclusive video to be shown when I attend anime conventions.

So, here's hoping they accept my application.
