Also, I would just like to say that I have a several good friends on staff. One on both the hotel and NDK staff, and one that was EMS among others. To take up for them, I would just like to say that these people and their co-workers work their arses off to provide *us* the fans and con goers with a fun, safe, and entertaining place to spend the weekend with likeminded individuals who love anime and cosplay. As many people have mentioned--though not so much in this thread--these people give up their weekend to supply their experience, skills, time and services to the con and while the staff shirt and badges may make many of us temporarily forget it...They are only human. They can't be everywhere at once, nor go all weekend without food, sleep and breaks. They aren't to blame for enforcing clearly stated rules, and if you think they are then go find a higher up to inform of this. But most especially, they can't properly do their jobs if we aren't willing to help and support them by following the far from unreasonable rules, and keeping an eye out for fellow con-goers. That said I'd just like to remind everyone, that there's a time and place for ranting, but try to offer constructed suggestions and advice instead of accusations supported by "facts" that don't hold water. Remember, NDK is a family for better or worse, and if you think you'd rather not be a part of it, then just go and leave it at that.
