new question, what is a hospitality suite?

It's a place, often a hotel suite, where a convention would provide food, drinks, and a place to lounge about. I've never seen one that's open to attendees (but they're apparently out there somewhere). Most conventions, if they have them at all, only have them for staff members (and in a pot-luck sort of arrangement, where everyone chips in).

Some of the smaller conventions like Opus and Milehicon have them but they have outside sources who sponser them, like colleges and small fan groups, not the actual convention.

The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

Hospitality Suites are a staple at Sci-fi cons rather than anime cons. Of the ones I remember that have them, Project A-kon had (still has?) one. Anime Iowa had one this year. And those are the only ones I can think of right now.
