I have jobs that vary throughout the year.
Spring/Summer job is part-time at an auto repair shop.
Fall job is at a Haunted-House near my place which unfortunately no longer exists so looking at another one to apply at.
Winter job is normally a bit of a break with some cosplay commissions, and a few wig and prop commissions. Nice way to stay warm and make some money.
:B

In the night every sound was put on mute, everything was quiet
The white snow floats gently down
Hands raised up towards my face
The snow that was flowing, melts in an instance as more falls..

What a sad way it all ends~

I applied there before they opened, and they totally shrugged me off. No phone call or email either telling me yes or no...would have been nice too, less than a mile walk there. Oh well, I couldn't work at the hotel if I had gotten that job :P

You would have been great at whole foods. I hate when people do not reply, I know people do not want to be told no, but I think it is more annoying to not know if they are interested or not; particularly if someone is waiting for a reply before they move forward and apply for other jobs.

Well, I was a very disgruntled casher at Wal-Mart for two years, now I am living in my parent’s basement while attending collage for a business degree; which sucks because I am now doing accounting HW all 28 hours of a day.

Technologist for a major medical device company.  On paper this means I support the production lines and the engineers who support them, but in reality it means I have engineer minions.  They've even said so!  :D
(Work likes to save me things they think I might be able to use on costumes.  I have scalpels and razor blades galore as a consequence.  XD  Now, to find a use for all these various lengths of silicone tubing ...)

they seem to do that. I applied before they opened, and I finally got a reply back around mid-July. I think they may just be slow....

I spent about 12 years as a digital pre-press operator. I can still smell the film processng chemicals.
Well, ya see, I'm not saying that I've been everywhere and I've done everything, but I do know it's a pretty amazing planet we live on here, and a man would have to be some kind of FOOL to think we're alone in THIS universe.

I have to clean up after them of course, and it's a little less pay and a couple fewer hours, but I'm so happy!

Gamestop is a pretty ok job. I wont bash it, you may like it. It's definitely more about running a business than the games
