I collect badges made by fan artists! That's right, and I make my own, if anyone is interested in me making you a badge for NDK and want me to do it, its fun as heck and the collections grow more and more interesting. IS anyone else a collector too?

I am a Collector. I have every badge from every con I have been to. I just wish they all had the dates on them so I know the order I got them... I know my first because they mispelled my name on it

Man, I'm glad I'm not alone, I was thinking that maybe there should be a display at NDK of all the badges from cons past, just to show some history. I mean, con badge collecting should be a full fledged hobby.

I bet even the staffers have really awesome badges to display too. Maybe that would be a cool thing to show at the artist alley or even the art room. I would love to see how many badges people have at times.

Um...wouldn't it be nice if there was a display for badges from 1997 to present at NDK? I know it won't ever happen, but I would love to see the badges and at least take pictures of them.

I've started collecting badges. I've only been to a few cons, but I have a couple fan pieces as well. I have 4 from AB, one from NDK and a fan piece I picked up at NDK. I'll get another at NDK (this year it will actually be a pre-reg).

I've been thinking about creating one for myself with my personal muse on it since I should be getting a staff badge for AB this year (we get to have a pic or our choice).

Would you be interested in maybe a trade? I would love to see what others would do with my muse (or anything really).

What is interesting is when people have badges that are homemade, as in hand drawn badges, I saw a ton of those at RMFC and those were really awesome. NDK has some at the artist alley, but not so popular.

I am also a badge collector as I have all of my badges from NDK, MechaCon and Wizard World. I keep all of my anime con badges together on a lanyard however, it looks like I am going to have to get another one soon as I am running out of room and it's getting kind of heavy.

As for getting badges from others, I've been picking them up from Steve DeJesus every year at NDK. I have almost as many badges from him as I have from cons, period....

This gives me an idea...maybe I should scan all of my badges....

I also collect badges^^ I was lucky when I found all my badges from years past, they were in the right order XD And now I wear them to most cons :3 (if only the ALW '09 badge was laminated XD oh wells~)
I am also looking to buy at least 1-2 fan made badges from the artist alley this year~
I also like to stick stickers and keychains to my clip of collected badges =DD

I love collecting fan made badges, I have quite a bit and expect it to grow. I was sad I couldn't get a badge made for RMFC. Though I love to make badges too for my friends, I made a few and laminate them myself.

I am a little bummed that ALW 09's were not laminated, I had to laminate mine at my friend's booth.

Aww I wish i could have had mine laminated X3 (I guess I still can though)
But it was one of favorite cons :3
I guess that is why I collect badges, a momento from each con^^

Fan-made badges are teh best. I have a friend of mine who makes badges, as well. Some of his badges, that I have seen, are just as good as the ones I get from Artist Alley...

I believe they are in correct order starting from top left to bottom right. The plain looking ones were the ones being handed out at the door *didnt think to pre reg at the time*

I have all the badges from all the conventions I have been too, even Denvention 03 which is hanging in my bedroom as we speak. I would love to find away to show it off. Though to be honest, I have to wait on the pictures.

lusha, lol, I know how you feel, I didn't get a new badge made for me this year, though I did get one from a badge trade which I love. I only walked out of the con with 2 new badges which is a sad addition, usually I walk out of NDK with at least 3 fan badges and my con badge.

I'm thinking about putting up other convention badges as well as my artist alley ones. I just haven't had the time to do some scanning....need to scan out some new cels, too...man, I'm behind...
