If you folks are coming to the marriott Thurday you're looking at 81 degrees and partly cloudy skies. And for Friday: Partly cloudy and 79 degrees. Saturday: Partly cloudy and 76 degrees. Long term...not many adjustments planned in this package. Looks like the best chance for precipitation this week will be in the time frame of late Tuesday and possibly Wednesday. The models still have a cold front moving into the County warning forecast area but the timing waffling somewhat. It looks like it may not arrive until late Tuesday evening. As a result not sure the upslope component will be there Tuesday so lower the probability of precipitation back to 30 percent for the Front Range foothills and Palmer Divide. Convective available potential energy still around 600 j/kg at Denver with values close to 1900 j/kg in the northeast plains. Wednesday may play out as more of Post frontal day 2 scenario. Convective available potential energy from forecast soundings have values in the 1800-2100 j/kg range for the Front Range and northeast plains. Precipitable water values range from .9 to 1.2 inches Wednesday. It will be cooler however which may cap this potential. Best chance for storms may be along the Palmer Divide. For now will go with chance probability of precipitation for zones 35..36 and 41 for Wednesday aftn/evng...but leave the rest of the probability of precipitation as is. An amplified ridge over the west is prognosticated to bring a drier weather pattern to northeast Colorado for the rest of the period. This already reflected in the grids so no adjustments needed beyond Wednesday.

Sunday is also starting to populate. We have the 6am and 9am forecasts up as of this posting. Gonna be a pretty cool weekend, so a hoodie might be in order, as well as leggings for anyone heading outside in a skirt.
