Have a room? Need a room? Discuss it here.
« on: August 03, 2009, 03:53:19 pm »
Are you looking to share a room with someone? Do you have a room with a bed that's not being used? This thread should help the two parties find each other.

Please don't post personal information like phone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc. in this thread; if you need to share such information, please send a PM instead.

I have a slot open for one person in my room, if he/she are willing to pay for some of the room, I have no trouble accepting you in.  (Closed, we have capped finally)

I would point to my room, but due to finances, I've had to cancel my NDK convention trip this year. @_@ Room is up for transfer.

So I'm looking for a room...I have money and everything it's just that I'm carless and have no way to get from a different hotel  to the mariott in less than 3 hours walking...It's just my friend and I.

PM me if you know of any available spots. T_T

PlayPretend: There are several hotels within walking distance of the Marriott. For example, the Hilton Garden Inn is literally right across the street.

Thanks! I've never stayed anywhere in Denver (I've never even been there more than twice), so I had no idea what to look up.

Ah, I suspected it might be by this point. There are other hotels in the area as well:

And with that, I think we should let this topic get back on track. But any of you needing a room and aren't able to find someone willing to split one with you, the above link may come in handy...

As a notice; my room has been transfered to Trio. If she's up for roomies in there, I point to her now.

It's booked out on the Friday. Not the Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. Though it does appear that the NDK rate is no longer available.

Everyone don't give up on finding a room. I have been to NDK in the past and seen people get a room saturday evening. People sometimes cancel at the last minute or roomates can't show up for some reason or another. So don't give up hope. Just show up and more than likely you will get lucky. Keep your hopes up high folks.

I'm sorry to say it, but this is really bad advice. While it's true that there are always people who reserve rooms and don't show up, I would not recommend that anyone count on this for the purposes of getting a room. The odds of showing up at the hotel without a reservation and getting a room are, for all intents and purposes, zero; in other words, the polar opposite of "more than likely." Even if you were to get lucky and someone decided not to show up and you got to it before anyone else, you still wouldn't get a room on Friday night; if a room is reserved and someone doesn't show up to claim it, they don't release it until the next day.

Please do yourself a favor and reserve a room at an alternate hotel instead of counting on scoring a room at the Marriott without a reservation because it's just not going to happen.

All that said, this thread is not about finding a place to make a room reservation; it's about sharing hotel rooms. So let's please bring it back on track. If you need to reserve a hotel room somewhere, please post in the thread linked above. This is not the appropriate thread for such discussion.
