I'm a 17 year old soon to be senior just looking for some cool people from around this area to hang with. Maybe play videogames, watch movies, work on costumes, run around, and just do stupid stuff :]

Most of my friends aren't HORRIBLY far away. I used to make trips up to the Fort Collins area twice a week. It's about a 45 minute drive from where I am.

I'm also in FoCo. Once school starts up again, you should drop by CSU's anime club, Ramnime. It's MADNESS and good socializing times.

I too am in Foco. But Im 26 so it might be weird for you hanging out with an older person. But I am always down to get together and watch anime.

Minor thread necromancy, but in my search for anyone who might be seeking a carpool to NDK this year from Fort Collins, I came upon this thread.

I moved to Fort Collins a little over a year ago, and it's a nice place. Gotta admit my count of friends (aside from those I know via work) is rather small at the moment. 90% of my social life has to come from Greeley (went to UNC, and I wear the plates with pride, WHAT!), so it can get a bit lonesome. Although I must admit I may have the odd quirk that Joeonewing, down to the exact same year in fact, heh!

So hey, add me to the pile of NDK-goers in the Fort.

Thornton and Fort Collins are crazy far apart. Thornton is more a part of Denver really.

Not off the top of my head, actually. I know of a couple LAN centers in town, but that's all. Only gamers I remotely know are of the table-top variety, and it's not exactly my cup-o-tea.

I moved to Fort Collins back in December. Don't really have any friends here, or at least no one I hang out with. XD As a result I've attempted converting my coworkers into cosplayers. lol~

You know, I actually ran into a couple Naruto cosplayers at the Foothills Mall last Saturday (9/5) evening. One as Sakura, another as Naruto.

Had to make the side-comment of "aren't y'all a week early for the convention?" to which I was greeted with excitement from them finding another con-goer. I'm sure it beat the weird looks they were getting from all the "normal" people going to the mall that evening.

Guess I'm just a bit curious if one or both of them might be forum-goers, or if anyone here may know who I'm talking about.
