Semantic: Technically, Desmond (I think that's his name) is a descendant of Altair. How much you wanna bet that Desmond becomes the assassin in the 3rd game?

I would like to know more about Desmond, so that would be cool.
By the way as a testament to how fast the popularity of this is spreading, I've already been commissioned to make Ezio's costume from the sequel.  I've only got three pictures to go from..

indeed, but I agree it is a rather stunning outfit. I think they are planning on wearing it to the Renaissance fair.

yeah, a second trailer was released today and it 'says holiday 2009' at the end of it.

Gameplay doesn't tell us much about the tone or the storyline. I appreciate gameplay trailers as well because I want to see the actual game in motion, but it didn't get me as excited as the E3 trailer did.

The ending of the first game makes it seem like they could go beyond a trilogy if they want to.

Also this month's issue of playstation the official magazine has a preview of assassin's creed 2. Its not a screen shot preview but a several page preview.
