Gaiaonline.com is the one game that has an avatar that you don't have to feed, pet, or groom because its a person or otherwise known as you! Plus it is also has a RPG game called zOMG! They call it a place where people who like anime can become anime (with your avatar). You get a free home (not a real one) and a car ( again, not a real one). I joined back in... 05 maybe? But over the years I watched the quality of the community decline. XD; The games and stuff are really fun, but it just isn't a fun place for me anymore. But then again, never really made a lot of friends there. I used it mostly for roleplaying (had some kickass rps that I'll never forget), and selling art. But yeah, I don't really go there anymore!

I like it and some thing are good like the evolving items and some quests.

Ha. I totally used to play Gaia Online, but I just logged on once a day to get the daily chance gold and maybe do a puzzle or two, just for the GG. I wasn't even sure what I was going to use it for.

Did they ever end up releasing that MMO-type thing they were working on? I might check that out, if it's around.

Yeah, the mmo zOMG is out. It's on their site though, not like a "real" game release by any means. I don't know about it. I play WoW, so it doesn't do much for me...

I'm still sort of on Gaia, but I hardly ever pay attention to it anymore. I more go there for my friends and the avatar, but hardly even the avatar anymore. I guess I go through spurts. I get tired, leave for awhile, then come back and go crazy. Right now I'm in a leave stage. I just don't really like the forums anymore, filled with too many idiots.

If you enjoyed WoW but got tired of it, you'll like zOMG. It wasn't too bad really. I'm just getting tired of Gaia being money-grubbing jerks.

^^;; Go for it, if you enjoy it. I don't hate on Gaia too much and think people should leave it, I'm just personally getting tired that to be "cool" according to them seems to be more and more about buying stuff with REAL money. I miss the old days when the only real money spent was on the monthly collectibles....*sighs*

yeah, but hey! It can still be fun and there not so many gaians that ask for money. At least not for me, anyway. I go through phases too. Right now I'm in the green phase. My gaian is totally green! But I don't really get tired of gaia too much. But otherwise, sometimes I feel too tired to do something like that and so I just get the daily chances and the overseer. Then I come over here!

Gaia has gone over-board with the Evolving Items. I never spend real money on that site unless its for the Monthly Collectibles, and I think that the addition of the Cash Shop and Evolving Items is just showing that Gaia has either become greedy money-whores or they're desperate for the money. -shrug- Either way, I have always and will always love Gaia.
.__. The zOMG out currently...is only beta currently, they have yet to come out with the officially official zOMG MMO. Too many bugs currently, people are still stuck in the very beggining. I personally don't play it...often.

Hah, I play Gaia. Sometimes anyway. It has a lot of good points, but it also has a lot of idiots--I get sick of beggars and whiners pretty fast. I've actually made a lot of good friends there, and that's the reason I stick around. I'm not really on much at this point since I'm trying to graduate, but I sometimes do avatar art and assorted doofery. And I've played through most, but not all, of zOMG--I think it's pretty fun if you have a good team. If you want to look me up, just shoot me a PM here and I'll give you my screenname. xB

I joined back in 04 with my first avi, and who knows when with my current one. I was a beta tester for zOMG, and now that its out of beta I no longer play. It was fun for a while but I got bored easy.
