Its coming from the Source engine.   Its what Valve has been using for all their games recently.  (HL2, Portal, TF2)

I think even Left 4 Dead used the same engine. Ah, the days of futzing around with Gerry's Mod.

Ahh, that would make a lot of sense. It's a very cartoony engine style, but I like it. And yeah, Left 4 Dead does use the same engine.

Goldeneye:Source was super buggy for me and hardly anyone was playing it Sad Such a great idea, too, hope it's more fleshed out someday!

It's too bad the project lead for Goldeneye:Source offed himself right before it was ready for launch, that news was absolutely terrible.
