New Years Cosplay Party

Here's what we've got so far. If you have ideas about a good central place we could all meet and hold the party at, please feel free to share.

Event: New Year's Cosplay Party
Date: Thursday January 1, 2009
Time: 2 o'clock
Location: Pending
Other: The cosplay theme is evil bastards - costume is not required but would be totally awesome.

Ideas for games or other such things to do at the party are totally welcome and needed - so feel free.

Okay, I may have a location. It's not set yet, but we may be able to have at my house (apartment actually) but it's still pending with mum so no absolutes just yet - but it is an indoor place (obviously). Also, while not required, it'd be really awesome if people could bring along food - I'll still provide most of it but maybe doing a potluck type thing would make life a little easier on me. I also had the idea of doing a white elephant gift exchange. For those of you who don't know, a white elephant gift exchange is were you bring a gift (it can be god awful if you want but it's usually nicer to at least try and bring something other people may like) with out spending a penny of your money. Basically grab something you don't want, wrap it up, and heft it over here! ^.^

Alrighty! Location secured! The party will be held at my apartment and the apartment above mine (dual level, woot!) on Thursday January 1st from about 2 pm to ??? (pretty much whenever people decide to leave, I'm not picky). Please, if you're interested in coming, pm me so I can get a general count for supplies. I'll be providing pizza, cupcakes, chips, pocky, marble drinks, other sodas and teas, as well as anime gingerbread men. If you would like a specific character or anime for the ginger bread men, please send me a reference pic and I'll do my best! This party is welcome to any and all who are interested and it will be located in Westminster (at about Sheridan and 76th). I'm still hoping to set up a white elephant gift exchange, but I haven't gotten any feedback so let me know what you think! Also, I have a PS2 and a game cube and my upstairs neighbor who is loaning us his apartment has an xbox 360 so please feel free to bring any games you want to play. I have DDR SuperNova 2 and Naruto Ultimate ninja 3, but I have no idea what Vaughn has so... yeah. Anyways, talk to me people. Give me feedback!

Rip van Winkle will join you, she's a baddy and is up to party for fun. please have lots of soda and er...tomato juice (yes, it looks like blood). I will see if the Vampire's Den group will want to join in on this.

Okay! I'll be pming everyone who expressed interest in but haven't confirmed and then on either the 30th or the 31st I'll send out my address and cell number to all those who confirmed. It'll probably be a small affair - but fun none the less I'm sure.

Me and Shino will try our best to be there. The cosplay theme is the one thing we are having trouble with. Can you believe it, we've never done an evil cosplay before! but we'll figure something out! ^_^

omg really? I'm surprised, truly. I may not end up being able to do my Orochimaru after all - I forked out the extra cash two weeks ago for express (2-4 day delivery) and it still isn't here... TT.TT I'm getting annoyed actually, which I've learned is actually apparently very hard to do.
