Yeah, we speculated on that on IRC earlier. I think GimmeAnime's explanation made the most sense: Guest relations issues notwithstanding, sleeping space was a huge limiting factor. The Holiday Inn (nothing's changed but the name) has 255 rooms and sleeps 732 people assuming two in every bed. Compare that to 616 rooms and 1804 people using the same measurement at the Marriott (and yes, we do sell it out), plus better pricing, and the advantage is clear.
