Sooo, I've been doing my research on trying to get my GED...
And so, my condition to going to NDK is that I HAVE to have my GED done by then.

Also, my mother is going back to dental assisting and she's thrown out the idea of me going with her.
It's a 3 month program that's right around the corner from here.
Say yes to $20/hour.

Many people bash the GED tests when they've never even seen them in their lives. It has a failure rate of 70% for people including public high school graduates who are taking the tests for the first time so apparently it's not as "easy" as some people would like to believe.

The test is administered to a representative sample of graduating high school seniors each year, about 30% of whom fail the test.

I've encountered it a bit, actually. Even my dental hygienist scoffed.
On my practice run-through I scored all green, so I'm not worried about it.

What time does your school get out?  'Cause if you're like everyone else you'll probably have plenty of time to do both.

Most events don't start on Fridays until the late afternoon.

Well say that you know you'll be missing some school, but that this will be the only friday in the year that you will ask for it, that's what I'm gonna have to do at my job lol

Even so, there isn't much to do aside from stand in line if you get there early.


As for cosplay chess, you could say it's too late, but because it's most likely not happening this year.
