I did when I could! But NDK was like "Forum Live" where I could talk to members face-to-face.

I did the first year.  My laptop's dead, now, so probably not any more.  B'sides, lugging electronics gets annoying.

Yep. It is pretty dead in here though. I will periodically be checking in to make sure everything is fine with the webcam.

Oh, and I plan on logging onto the forum at least once during the con for the NDK Forum panel I (and several others) will be running. :)

I might check it every once in a while, via the pocket-web, but yeah, it's dead until about 5-6pm sunday, then, most of us regulars avoid it like the plague, sooo many new people posting EVERYWHERE!!!

It's kinda scary to us (at least me).

I checked the forums in NDK 2006 in a room that had a laptop with Internet access. Nothing was going on.

I cry all through that week too and hide on Myspace/Gaiaonline until the rush calms back down, lol.

And I never was able to check the site during the con, until now 'cause of my lap top. ^^

I agree, it's overwhelming. So many new faces, so many posts that you can't keep up with. Then around December-January it dies down and then it seems really slow.

I say to heck with the posting. You are around many many people to have fun with and talk to, why would you need the internet at all at the con?

Makes a good point, but I check when I'm on my breaks at work. At least with my cell phone I do.

It's pretty overwhelming for staff as well.  We're very very tired by Monday and a lot of threads get made for questions about the next con, which we aren't even prepared to acknowledge exists yet...

Last year and and after anime wasabi, I didn't even go to school on Monday, to overwelming.
Plus I couldn't even step a foot out of bed :XD
