Is anyone planning a lolita tea this year? If anyone wants me to start one I can, but I wanted to make sure no one else was.

Oooh! Great! I know my friend (shiro_usagi on here) will be wanting to go to that. If I can fit dressing lolita into my cosplays, I'll def want to go too. I went to the tea party last time, and I know we weren't required to be in lolita to attend... so I don't know if you wated it to be strictly lolitas, but I know I'd have def my friend and possibly me that'd want to go!

You don't have to go as lolita to be at the tea. It will be informal, and one of my friends going has no lolita clothes to go in so you won't be left out if you chose not to wear lolita clothes. And I was there last time too, so I hope to see you again this year. Please have your friend reply on this post, so I can have a head count of how much to bring.

Also All People Planning To Go
I will be bringing some basic teas and hot water, but you are required to bring your own tea cup and saucer, and if you want a specific tea you must bring your own.

In addition, if anyone wants to bring snacks for the group it would be a great help.

Ouh!  I helped the little Loligirls get stuff together for the Expo tea party thing.  XD
I'll spread the word, as I know a bunch of them little fluffy dressed people.  XD

An idea of what you could do, is possibly bring foam cups?  That way the people who don't read on the forums or something hear about this tea party at least there will be extra cups, and you won't have to worry about anything breaking.  XD

Tea and cupcakes.  Aaah, the life of a Loli.  xD

That is a good idea, I'll try to remember to bring some cups with me. Also do you have any tips for setting up the tea? This is my first year getting everything together and can use some help. Thank you very much for spreading the word. The more the merrier. Please reply if anyone else agrees to come with you. I hope to see you there.


All People Planning to Go:
Those who are inviting their friends to go with them, when replying to this post, please name how many people are confirmed to come to the tea. So far only four people are confirmed, and I will only bring anough for maybe one or two more then are confirmed at this post.

Also I need an accurate count of how many people are coming for supply reasons, so sometime next week I will send an email to anyone confirmed to come to make sure of the head count. Please check your emails often.

Well there will be three (including me) in my group if we stop by.  ^ ^

I know at Expo they basically had a bunch of different flavors of tea you could pick from, and a thermo or something of hot water, maybe one of those plug in heater things to heat the water?

I would love to go - it sounds awesome! Consider me RSVPed - also I can bring some homemade greentea cookies if you like. Just lemme know if you want me too and how many I should make.

I will try to make it but I'll be cutting it really close because I'm hosting a Dollfie panel at 11 on Saturday.  If I am able to make it I will have two other guests with me.  Will this be a BYOTC like last year?

Thank you all for all the RSVP's! So far we have about 15 People who think they can go! Just drop by and say "Hi" if you have other places to go (like the dollfie panel). Sicklittlepuppetshow if you could bring anough cookies for that many people (or just any amount of cookies if it is too many to make) I would greatly appreciate it. If anyone else wants to bring some light snacks it would be greatly appreciated.

General Information on the Tea:This is just re-posted general info with some other information included.

 We will meet Saturday at 10 am in the foyer where the piano is (same place as last year for those of you who went). The tea will last maybe an hour, and you can leave at any point.

This is an unofficial event so you don't have to pay for anything, but I don't have an unlimited supply of hot water and tea bags, so you will only get one or two cups of tea. If you want, you can bring your own tea and snacks and won't be required to share. Snacks at this point are few and not guaranteed. You will have to bring your own tea cup. I will be bringing some foam cups, but depending on the number of people, not everyone may get one, so don't count on others bringing cups for you. I will provide some basic teas and hot water (as much as I can get anyway).

While Lolita-esque clothes are a big plus, not everyone is able to wear such clothes, and so there is no 'dress-code' as to what you can wear. Pictures are allowed at the tea, but if you want to take a picture of someone please ask permission first as not everyone likes to be photographed. I hope to see you all there. :)

Also as a reminder, next week (likely on Sept 5th or 6th) I will be emailing all of you to make sure of the head count, so please check email often. If I don't get return emails, I may not bring anough supplies for everyone. Thank you.

If I'm able to show up I'll try to bring a little extra tea. My thermus wont hold a ton but it might be enough for 2 or 3 more people ^_^ I might try to bring some sweets too just so we can make sure nobody goes hungry!

I'll try to come, just because I love Lolitas and the tea party sounds really cute. I don't really drink tea though, and I'll be busy with the artist's alley, so maybe I'll just pop in to say hi and to see all the happy Loli fanatics? xD

I have sent everyone who has posted here a RSVP confirmation for the tea. Please repond to it by next Friday.

Typo I made a typo in some of the RSVP emails. If you are repling for someone else make sure they are *not* replying themselves.

 I have managed to get a hold of a few more thermos', so there should be enough tea for everyone. Thank you everyone who is helping me with this, bringing extra tea and snacks. Hope to see all of you next week. :)

Should I just go ahead and make about 20ish of each snack then - just in case? I'm making them today 'cuse I'm heading off to the hotel tomorrow soo... I'll try for at least twenty cookies and brownies. i'll probably bring more though so we should be set.
