Well the main stop is, as others have mentioned, the dealer's room. It's always fun to wander around and browse even if you don't plan on buying much, or maybe just to kill time between events. Like window shopping...though of course buying things is definitely a lot of fun at NDK.
I'd also like to add, ever since NDK moved to the Mariott, I've really gotten to enjoying Artist's Alley, or as I love to refer to that area as, The Round Table due to the lay out. But I really love to see the artwork, and handmade trinkets. I know they had the independent artists at the Holiday Inn, but I think I just didn't really notice them or care much when they were by the exit of the dealer's room, it always just looked like an area to sit and relax more than anything.
Oh but anyway, the Artist's Alley is great to browse practically as much as the dealer's room, sure not as many booths or items, but still very very enjoyable.
Well, though I don't expect the SAME panel this year, I really enjoyed this egg samurai craft panel last year. I still have my egg samurai, admittedly I was surprised he didn't get busted during the con. But anyway, I know I'm going to look forward to seeing if there's another craft panel that's interesting this year, but then I'm a crafty person. So I guess those are my suggestions. I haven't browsed the panels that much to be honest, the last couple years I've tried to check them out more, but sometimes it just doesn't happen, or else I don't see ones real interesting to me. not that there aren't good ones. But every year I try to check out the panels more and more.
