I just got back from a trip to denver and got to take a peek at the current working schedule so I know when to schedule it.
I hopr to contac tthe resturanut in a day or two to confirm the resevation so details will be sent out along with the ediotr seating passes.

The reservation has been made, im trying to get that info mailed out along with the seating passes I hope this wednesday ( assumeing the artist can get me the art piece for the badges, if not Ill have to go to plan B )

But in any case, all info I hope will be in the editors hands a good amount of time before the con.

A reminder, the only info packs and badges will go to editors who sent their FULL contact info along with their entries

I'm excited! Last year's was loads of fun, even if I was the only girl there. I hope my badge gets here soon. I was beginning to worry. :'(

You dont see many female editors, I think the talent some of them has is amazing. Most of the time more artistic than male editors.

I was mentioning that to my friend but we're both girls so I hope we aren't the only ones. I noticed that most of the people who get in are male and around 19 or so (correct me if I'm wrong) But I'm 14 and she's 16 and we're both girls so we kind of break the mold lol

Badges and details have not been sent out, im still waiting on the artwork.
but if it is not in by Friday, I will make somethign up and mail them out by saturday so expect them mid to late next week.

For what it's worth, I'm female too. I'm older(27) and new to editing though. My entry this year consisted of my first two AMVs, but I'm still hoping to make it in to the contest. This year that's as good as winning for me.

Ok, I'll break down and ask: Is the lunch open to all people who entered, or is it for people who actually got in? Just wondering.

Well, whether I made it or not, Good Luck everybody! I'm looking forward to the show!

The lunch is open to all editors who submitted entries to the event, whether they are in the final contest or not.
details of the lunch are in the notices being mailed out, if you did not provide a full contact mailing address, you will not be getting one.

I always feel old at NDK when I ask people their age and they reply with "something-teen". A boy followed me around last year and it was somewhat flattering until I found out he was sixteen. I had to tell him to knock it off, because "Sweetie, where I come from, that's illegal. And I'm from here." I get the worst of it, though, since I look young for my age. More often than not, they're approaching me, thinking perhaps that I'm still in high school.

I am totally doing an AMV for the comedy catergory next year with Oingo Boingo and Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni.

The lunch is Friday at 2:00. I don't understand how they could have the results available before the contest.
