parts of GitS (all of them), especially GitS: I. but, i warn you, it's really, really boring (walker fell asleep during it). GitS:SAC does more than 2nd Gig.

I sort of mentioned it because it's by director Satoshi Kon, but I haven't seen it myself, so I didn't feel right about recommending it.

Ah, I didn't see that, lol. Yeah it's pretty screwy...as it progresses the episodes just make less and less sense.

I recommend Paprika highly, especially right before bed.

Anyway, some that haven't been mentioned... Darkside Blues is pretty out there, though I don't know how much of a Mind Screw it would be.

That anime made absolutely no sense to me. No matter what anyone tried to explain or point out... if they're trying to get a message across, they should try and do it in a less confusing manner next time around...lol.

I found "The SoulTaker" to be quite the mind job, personally. Mostly because the artstyle was freakin' psychedelic for the majority of the show.

Yeah i love soul taker its one of my favorite animes me and friend are cosplaying as Soul Taker (Him) and Soul Crusher (me) for Anime Wasabi and NDK 09. Its going to be so much fun.
