I have a Housemen possition open if anyone wants to lift heavy things and be on my crew. It's $9 to start, full time gig.. gotta be able to lift at least 50lbs, be on your feet constantly, and work long hours into the night. Doesn't sound like a lot of fun, but it has it's perks

Mannn, I've been living in Fort Collins for almost 3 weeks now and I still haven't found a job. XD Even places like 7-11 aren't hiring. It's CRAZY. I highly would not recommend moving here unless you already have a job secured. lmao~ It's definitely nothing like when I was living in Seattle. I got 2 job offers within the first week!

Oh well, I'll keep looking!

I'm going to be posting two more housemen shifts come the first of the month again. Just figured I'd throw it out there again.

This summer and for Fall, Auraria Campus Bookstore will be looking for student employees, the down side of this, you have to be a student of UCD (University of Colorado at Denver), Metro State, or CCD (Community College of Denver). If you need a job, best put in applications in April, we always need, Cashiers and Bookfloor. If you are a student at Metro, CCD or UCD, this job is great.

The reason for this right now is because I'm actually graduating and well, they can't keep me after graduation and I know they will need more help. Plus, I always think it is best to plan ahead for jobs.

Words of warning about Auraria Campus Bookstore, at least from a former of employee. I am warning you of some of the lay offs that have been happening at my store. I was recently also a victim, I was lucky because my managers were not happy about letting me go, but other emloyees have been let go without notice. Just be careful if you are planning on taking on the job.

It's near impossible to find a job in Boulder either D: Probably cause it's a college town, on top of the job market at the moment.... that being said, if anyone knows of any job openings somewhere between Broomfield and Longmont, let me know XD

Still hunting for a new job, I'm a five to ten year customer service experienced person, able to manage five to ten people at a time, work a register like a breeze and also know how to shelve books like no other. Here's a sad fact, no bookstore in Denver is hiring! Wah!

I will take any position, but one, FOOD SERVICES.

Costco usually hires people like crazy. The pay usually starts around $10 (that was almost 9 years ago though so it might have gone up). You get time and a half on Sunday and if you become a cashier its an instand 50 cent raise. If you go looking for a job, girls make sure your dressed in slacks and a nice shirt, Guys you need to wear slacks and a button up shirt or they'll send you out the door before you even get an interview.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

I like wearing suits and semi casual outfits and I don't mind dressing up for a job and what not. My only concern is that my long hair (about 4 feet now) has made a lot of employers tedious about giving me a job, even though I've met the qualifications to the last spec. Even having 1500+ (500+ of it dealing with customers) volunteer hours under my belt doesn't seem to help either.

The reason why I'm asking is because below UCCS, there's a Cosco opening, and I'm looking for another job to help sustain my life. The current job I have right now isn't exactly steady...

I'm not sure how they feel about hair. But I would say as long as you have it tied back and it looks nice (washed) it should be fine. You only need to wear the nice stuff to the interview after that its polos/nice T-shirts and jeans.

Hmm... and where is this exactly? I miss working in a warehouse/heavy lifting kinda place. I've been sort of looking for a job like this..

EDIT: Oops... I realized what date that was posted at. Well, if there are still ever any openings, I'd still be curious..
