Some of us don't have jobs, or are looking for something different. Some of us are working at places that are hiring. This is the thread for posting new job prospects.

No job is too small or too big. Regardless of whether the job opening is for a programmer or part-time fast food help, go ahead and post it. You never know what someone is looking for!

Also, if your company has some sort of employee referral bonus, be sure to post the information necessary to get you the bonus. There's no reason you can't help yourself out by helping someone else out.

Have you tried places like waterworld, elitches, lakeside, or the aquarium? They are always looking for summer help, and generally hire younger folks.

Since some have read my post, then you know my predicament.

Here is the skinny on my job employment.  I worked in the Security field from 1991 til 2001. I then went into Law Enforcement/Corrections from 2002 til 2008.

I am Texas certified in being a Peace Officer. So, anyone can point in the right direction for me to get a job and a place to live in that area and really a bead on a decent car, I would be most appreciative.

Generally, Idoun, that's a fancy word for secretary. Answering phones, sorting mail, that kind of thing. And that job usually includes the ominous "Other Duties As Assigned", which could literally be anything.

I'm looking for anything that does not require food service.  That is the one thing I will not do.

I just got a second job in Boulder. It pays $10 an hour for the first 3 months. You're then transfered to a different program at the same location where you're paid $8.50 + Commission.

The company is called "Bolder Calls." It's basically like a telemarketing job, but we're not selling anything. We're offering auto insurance quotes. You sit at a desk with an automatic dialer and recite the script, and if they say no, you hang up.

Incredibly easy job. Above minimum wage. And it's not food related. XD

I work there with my little brother and about 5 of his friends. If you go in for an interview, and you can speak well and clearly, you're pretty much guaranteed the job.

If that doesn't work, you could always come work with me at Taco Bell. XD

It's more or less as BakuDan said, though we don't get many calls to the office (we have an answering service that takes most calls). It's general office work. Filing, scheduling, organizing information, that sort of thing. Possibly even some sales work. It's not really a well-defined role, though, because we're a small enough company that most people wear multiple hats. So it's not like a human-switchboard "assistant" position at a mega-corporation.

It's an art shop that is run nation-wide, and the one in Denver is run out of Elitch Gardens
Currently the shop is looking for charicature artists or cashiers for airbrush stands

If you work charicatures only art experience is neccessary, and it doesn't have to be directly involved with charicatures, you'll be trained and paid for your time. My boss, Melissa, needs artists who can work 4+ days a week

The job pay starts at minimum wage, but opportunities are available to make commission based on how much artwork you sell.

Does anybody know of a job over $6 a hour? I need a second job since I'm not working a lot of hours for the job I'm doing right now. I help make the tungsten toffee, if anybody has heard of it. It truly is one of the best toffees i ever had. That's not the point though^^
But anyways I'm 14 and looking for another job, so if anyone can help me out it'd be great ^^
