Thought I would update with what I found out price wise after some more research.

A lot of places get bootlegs from Gamers Cell and Japan Anime.
Bootleggers charge these as their wholesale prices.

Bootleg DVDs = $5.50 a disc
Fake Wall Scrolls = $8.00 each
Fake Posters = $1 each
Fake Plush Toys = $4.50

So, when you go to a place like -say "The Anime Store"- where they charge at this rate:

Bootlegs = $12.00 a disc
Fake Wall Scrolls = $16.99 each
Fake Posters = $12.99 each
Fake Plush Toys = $29.99

You are wasting your money and being completely ripped off.

Lesson kids, don't buy bootleg products. You are ripping off Japanese companies, American companies, and yourself. Always check the tags and always buy legitimately. You'll actually save money that way.

Wow. He's getting ripped. I was offered $4.00 a disc DVDs and $5.00 for fake wallscrolls from the bootleg distributors who've solicited me.  :P

Hey, I have a question...what about people who are con artists? You know peopel who actually use the bootlegs to actually rip people off. I had to live with one for three months last year. Is there away to protect ourselves from those kind of people too? They use their knowledge of the anime and stuff to actually steal from us. I was wondering if I should do a post about that
