My friends and I decided to do the Rabbids from 'Rayman "Raving" Rabbids'. I have a plunger gun and everything. lol!

Don't know if it is too late for 2009 but it would not be a bad to start the Rave at 10 pm instead almost 12 midnight.

Cosplay Contest runs until about 10, at which point the staff has to break down the several hundred chairs that were used in the CC. The DJs need to set up equipment, lighting, and other such stuff like that.

I don't think it's midnight... I think usually they finish up sooner than that...
In the meantime you can always bounce around the atrium, meet some new people, or sign up for some karaoke time. :)

We are scheduled to begin at Midnight but we always try to start the music before that.   Like Lunara said, we try to set up just after the Cosplay.  Usually after we start the set up process its about 30 mins before the beats are hitting your ears.
