It's a new year, which means it's time to start preparing for the next Nan Desu Kan. For most people, those preparations involve two primary steps: pre-registering for NDK and reserving a hotel room at the Marriott.
To pre-register for NDK, you can use our online registration system or our mail-in form. If you pre-register on or before January 31, you'll get the discounted price of $35 for the whole weekend. After that, the price goes up to $40, so pre-register before the end of the month if you can.
The Marriott also recently opened up reservations for the NDK weekend, so reserve your room online and rooms are already going fast.
There's no upfront cost for reserving a room, but a credit card is required to make the reservation. You don't have to use that credit card to pay for the hotel room when you check out of your room after the convention (you can pay with cash or a different credit card if you'd like), but if you make a reservation and fail to show up, that card will be charged for one night's stay. If it turns out you can't make it to NDK, you can cancel the room reservation at no cost at any point up to 24 hours before the reservation date to avoid that charge.
