Each year, NDK is privileged to play host to numerous talented artists. This year, we're introducing a new way to show our appreciation to the time and effort they devote to their wonderful table displays: a contest! Winners will be guaranteed a space for NDK 2012 without having to stress over the lottery, and will be chosen in the Dealers Room and Artists Alley Discussion Board on the forums after the convention ends.
How to vote
Artists were asked prior to the con if they wanted to participate. Pictures will be taken at the con of all entered tables. All tables will be numbered as well. There will be three categories in the contest that separate tables by types: Art, Craft, and Mixed. (Guest and Industry tables are not included in the contest).
Voting will start after the con and go until November 9.
Winners Announced
The winners will be announced November 10. To claim their reserved spot, they simply follow the normal procedure and fill out an application in February when the lottery opens. If they decline the space or fail to fill out the application, the space will go to the second place winner in that category.
If the winner would like to try for two tables in the lottery they may do so. Even if not chosen for the second table in the lottery, they will still have the one table already reserved for them.
